Excellent Condition * Original Fender Vintage Hard Case * FREE Next-Day UK Delivery This one's a gorgeous 1996 Fender USA Stratocaster Lone Star HSS electric guitar - the guitar is highly collectable & a great example of a premium Fender USA model - this model was made between 1996 and 1999 so this guitar is from first year of production - the guitar build quality & components are top class & of course the sound is just fabulous - I bought this guitar direct from the original owner, another collector/player. Of particular note is the stunning Sunburst gloss finish on Premium Alder Body with Maple Neck & Fretboard showing very distinctive wood grain - comfortable "medium C" neck profile, 22 frets, volume & tone controls, 5-way pickup switch, 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard, original tuners & tremolo etc - original pickups; two Texas Special single-coil, one Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates Plus humbucker - fabulous attention to detail & build quality. By now you will know that prices for high-end Fender guitars have continued to rise sharply - I think this guitar offers excellent value with great investment potential - I'm always deluged with enquiries whenever I list a particularly nice guitar - please let me know quick if this is the one you want. Condition :- "Excellent" - the guitar is 20 years old & had been played, but has mostly just been stored away recently - no breaks & no repairs - I do think the guitar looks & sounds fabulous - it's also very clean & has been well loved - I think the colour & overall look is well represented in the photos - everything works as it should, there are no issues. The guitar plays very smoothly, it's nicely set up & ready to play - the guitar is well-balanced, and is a good weight at about 8.0 lbs.
