Up for sale is a used Bass field drum in good condition. It was made by Ed Classey of the Cooperman drum company of Connecticut. It is 17 1/2 inches tall and the plastic Remo heads measure 24 inches across. The interior label inside identifies maker, company and manufacturing date of 1976. The abutted shell is made of stained maple. There is a metal tag with the number #048 on the outside of shell. There are no feet. The rims measure 2 inches across and have 12 drill through holes. There are 2 brass vent holes. All ropes are made of cotton, and there is a leather handle and a cotton drag rope. There are 12 leather adjustment ears strung with catgut. The metal counter hoops measure 1/4 inches across. There are two cloth mufflers. The drum has been used, there are scuff marks on the head and some scratches to the shell, moreso on the rims where it has been rested on the ground.
