You're looking at a 2016 Gibson Les Paul 1959 Chambered Historic flame top, with a Green Lemon Burst gloss finish on a killer flamed top and contoured neck heel. If you like an R9, but want one that is ultra light-weight, this is the ticket right here! She’s a feather-weight at 7.6 lbs, and is very easy to hold. She may be light in weight, but her tone is heavy. Great sounding and playing axe here. Being a 2016 model, it has all the great features that everybody has been raving about! With Gibson’s newer dye process, the mahogany back and neck are now done more like the original 59's, along with darker binding, Kluson tuners and their new Custom Bucker pickups… this is real quality, all the way! What’s even more, is that they combined a modern feature of the contoured neck heel (just like the Les Paul Axcess) so you will have easy access to the higher frets. Very cool stuff here! The action is fast and smooth, and she sounds like a great Les Paul should! She's 100% original and ready to rock!
