GIBSON CUSTOM SHOP 2010 LES PAUL 1959 Reissue V.O.S Washed Cherry Sunburst.2010 model ( pre the horror year 2011 Gibson's with the "Wood" issues!) Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul, pretty good to excellent condition, needs some work done on the frets, light scratches, 2 "dings" but overall very good to excellent condition. Not really wanting to sell it but...considering New CS LP Gibson's are retailing for approx: $13000, discounted to about $10,500.(here in Australia) I'd let this one go for about $ 6500+ . (Nice weight, an even 9lbs!..so my scales tell me!)) Totally stock, Case, all tags, documentation , Certificate etc. One owner from new. Set for .010-.046 strings, nice low action! But will need work on the frets, maybe just a dressing or partial re-fret! Finish on the neck is worn to bare wood in a few places...Aged by playing! Mainly interested selling, if the price is right in Australia, not really keen to ship internationally. The finish is a nice "Washed Cherry" sunburst, reasonable "Flame" on the Maple top. Stays in tune beautifully, best GTR I've ever had for that. Also, fitted currently with Schaller Nickel plated "Strap-locks" , originals "Buttons" in the case. Jack plate has been replaced by a Montreaux '59 LP jack plate. Will include the DSL padded Black/Cream Leather strap with the matching strap locks and a new set of .010-.046 strings. Pricing it high as it does have great sentimental value to me and I have noticed you just don't see that many CS Gibson LPs for sale here in Australia at the moment! My first "real" Gibson LP I bought! Main thing is it sounds and plays great and has good tuning stability with the factory tuners...looks pretty fantastic also! I have added a few pictures showing the wear on the finish + case, tags, documentation etc..!It will be send by courier, well packaged and with insurance against loss/damage during transit. Cost for that is $167.00 ...that's because of the insurance for about $3500! Full cover brings that up to a bit over $200. The courier I have used in the past (Smart Send) has been very reliable. If you have an account with some other courier, let me know and I'm sure we can arrange something if they can do a better price. I don't have a discounted account, so have to pay the full rate. Living in regional Tasmania, "Pack and Send" couriers aren't available as far as I'm aware, only based in Hobart. I don't think I can send via Australia Post as the overall length of the package exceeds their 105 cm limit!Remember list price from Gallins for this model Gibson Custom Shop LP is about $ 13000 retail, their best price is around $10,500!Payment: PayPal is OK, but would prefer direct deposit to my bank account...to avoid PayPal fees!
