1969 Ludwig Supraphonic Ludalloy Snare Drum : 6.5 x 14 1969 Ludwig Supraphonic snare drum in the rare 6.5 x 14 model. This drum is in great condition! The Ludalloy shell is beautiful with minimal surface scratches and no major dents or extra holes. The batter side hoop is a chrome over brass hoop (does show some wear / dents) while the resonant side is a chrome over steel hoop. The drum features all imperial lugs with have some pitting. Some of the tension rods are not original, however the drum is equipped ready to play! It looks like the snare beds were tapped down a bit to increase the sensitivity of the snares. Please see photos. Nearly new coated emperor up top and new hazy snare side on the bottom along with a newer set of snare strands. Please review the photos as they tell the story!
