Vintage 1980 Ibanez AR500 in unbelievable condition. Frets are excellent. Electronics are perfect. Intonation, neck, inlays, binding, action all superb. This is as good as a guitar can be made, and its in amazing, collectable condition. Antique Violin Finish. If you're looking at this, you likely know what it is. Coil taps, phase inverter, boost with gain & eq control (somewhat similar to having a vintage Tube Screamer on board). I've owned Alembics, Gibson Custom Shop, ESP Custom Shop, USA BC Richs, Fender Custom Shop and several Vintage Ibanez. It pains me more than words can tell to sell, so I'm not giving it away. What you will get is a beautiful example of one of Ibanez' greatest achievements and a guitar that will blow you away every time you pick it up. The nut was replaced awhile back and the original is included. There are 3 tiny dings to speak of, pictured. Top and back are perfect. Minimal wear on the hardware, no major pitting or corrosion. Some folks would call this a time capsule piece, a closet queen. You will not find a vintage AR500 AV in nicer shape. Includes case in excellent condition.For Pros, Collectors, and Guitar Snobs. Asking price reflects the near-museum condition of this guitar.
