Aphex Cx-1 Compressor/Expanders with Aphex 4B-1 LunchboxThe price is for all four compressors and the lunchbox. Ready to go. Plug and play.It all started here. The original 500 series compressors.If you're old enough or learned enough then you know these beauties are the real deal.I see them in studios here in town and no one uses them. They obviously don't have a clue.Was watching an episode of Pensado's Place and saw a pair up on his workstation.Dave knows.I came upon these when working for NY&CH back in the mid '80s.The FOH rack was loaded with them and the EQF-2 EQs.They were the sound of NY&CH drums and bass.So I started buying them. They have served me very well over the years.The CX-1 is so fast it will actually gate and compressor making your drums sound huge.I've seen a few listed lately here selling in the $200 range. That's a very fair price.There are also some others listed much higher than that. All these units have been gone through by Creation Audio Labs here in Nashville. These units do not have output transformers in them. It's a matter of taste to some.Caps were replaced where needed. All the pots were lubed. These are 100% working and up to spec. Again, the price is for all four compressors and the lunchbox.I will include the schematics and original paperwork brochure for you as well. I will have this lunchbox double boxed and I will pay for shipping in the continental US. You (the purchaser) will pay for any insurance over the standard UPS $100.00Please contact me about this (and any other questions you may have) and those arrangements will be made.They are being offered locally as well so I retain the right to end the auction early if need be.Thanks for looking.
