Watch this link to hear this amp in action. https://youtu.be/-CxPIpV6fMU A collectors piece A vintage 1966 Valco Supro S6606 tube amplifier. This one is in all original, very clean condition. Grill is very clean, controls show only minor playwear, covering is very clean with some very light staining on rear - no major nicks/tears. a bit of lifting of the covering on the bottom that could be easily glued back down. Speaker is original Jensen special design blue label. Original, original 2 prong cord (buyer may want to upgrade to grounded 3 prong for safety) vintage RCA tubes still strong, runs very quiet. And now the important bit, these Valcos are a very similar circuit to tweed champs (imagine that) and therefore have that to die for tweed, low wattage saturation that is so sought after. That nice overdrive sound you hear on records isn't from a pedal, it's from low wattage Champs and Valcos running at 10. Think of it as a tweed champ with a tone control and at a fraction of the price. Enjoy the sound of your tubes working to their fullest at (somewhat) household volumes. Tubes are same as tweed champs; 6v6, 5y3, 12ax7 - original Vintage RCA.
