This is a Vintage Original Neumann U89 Multi Pattern Studio Professional Recording Microphone made in Germany in the 1980's. Serial number is 8527. This microphone, as you can see by the pics, has some small scuffs from normal studio use, but it is in overall good condition for its years.All patterns work perfectly and sound absolutely terrific. The U89 was actually made by Neumann to replace the U87 and many singers choose the U89 instead the U87, as the U89 sounds more transparent and natural unlike the U87. Overall the U89 is a very under-rated Studio Microphone. Only serious bidders please.
