For sale Stunning Mandoline handmade and origin.The scale length is based on the traditional f5 foundation (same scale length and overall body length – adjusted to be wider and deeper for a more developed, deep sound).The specs:Nut to bridge is 14.125".2.25" body depth.Upper bout = 9", Lower Bout = 11.75"Hand carved Spruce top, hand carved Maple back & sides - parallel braced, with tuned oval sound hole.3 piece neck (maple/walnut/maple). Neck is "V" shaped with a Spanish heel.Nut width is 1.25" - very comfortable. The fretboard has minimal soundboard intrusion and cantilevers over the sound hole with a scalloped end.12" radius fretboard with medium fret wire.Ebony head with Bella MOP torch and Walnut accents.Soundboard and back trimmed in BWB binding.Randy Wood Bridge, Gold Allen tailpiece, Siminoff Gold tuners.The string height at center point of bridge is 1.25".Sealed and hand rubbed in Behlen Nitro Lacquer, with Amber color tones.The body shape, along with oval hole and string height was intentional to create a resonant, percussive instrument.
The sound chamber is larger than standard A or F model. Defined, clean separation of bass to treble.
The cutaway archtop body shape enables full, smooth fretboard playability. String height set with a low action and neck angle gives ease of playability.
