This is a great playing example of a Buescher 400 top hat and cane-engraved tenor saxophone #317XXX, with gold Norton springs and a complete recent set of Snap In Pads, manufactured in 1949.  This sax is in average used condition for it's age and it is set up to good playing adjustment.  However, some players will always want a sax personally to their taste by their own technician, so buyers will need to figure that expense into the price BEFORE bidding.  Significant wear, speckling, scratches in it's laquer finish, especially on the neck, no effect on the sound.  This sax has the presence, response and depth Buescher saxophone production. Comes in an original case in good condition, and the sax will be very carefully packaged for shipping.
This great vintage sax is offered at 99 cents starting bid and no reserve, to the highest bidder!
