Marks to Bell: Excelsior Sonorous Class Hawkes & Son Denmark Street Piccadilly Circus London. 5TH BN. SCO. RIF. 2.(5th Battalion Scottish Rifles). Further inscription on the length of the main body reads: OFFICERS PROPERTY. Overall condition is good, with a fine hairline crack running up the bell (clean line easily repaired) and some tarnishing to the metal on one key and support. It will need a full overhaul. Comes in original fitted leather case. Please study the picture carefully as they form part of the description.
