Includes, (3) Premier 2370 Floor Tom legs, (1) Die-cast ISO mount, (2) Premier 280030 Bass Drum Spurs Even-coat Lacquer Finish Bubinga Description Product Description A focused selection of drum sets offering all the best features associated with the hugely successful Premier Series as well as some new design innovations at very affordable prices. Premier Series Classic drums are available in pre-configured shell packs, a first for truly high-end professional drums. Premier Series Classic features two specific shell constructions, North American maple or African bubinga. North American maple shell are 7-ply pressure-bonded shells and undersized by 3mm, the traditional characteristic of Premier professional drums. This coupled with a precision-cut bearing edge allows the drumhead to sit flatter, producing increased sustain and low-end frequencies which result in an extraordinarily versatile tuning range. This design characteristic borrows from our finest orchestral timpani where tone and clarity are key. African bubinga is harder than maple or birch. Acoustically speaking, bubinga provides a very sharp and aggressive attack combined with unbelievably rich and fat lows. Our bubinga shells are crafted to 5.7mm 7-ply which allows these drums to display their unique characteristics to the fullest. All toms 12" and below are 4.8mm 6-ply.Rack toms are fitted with the stylish flush-fit ISO mount which allows closer positioning in multi-tom set-ups and firm support with no unnecessary loading on the shell allowing optimum resonance. ‘Crosstalk' between drums is also minimized, a bonus in any recording or live miking situation. With the distinctive Premier Series lug finished in Diamond Chrome, 2.3mm triple-flange steel hoops, and the quality assurance of the legendary “Red P” badge, these drums are ready for action. Tuning is made easy as Remo heads are fitted as standard.
