Vintage 1960s Univox Custom Hollowbody Guitar
Hello. Up for sale is a nice MIJ Univox ES-335 style hollowbody guitar from the 1960s.This guitar is in nice condition and looks great and it fun to play. It has a sunburst finish and some exceptionally nice flame maple in the top and back. The guitar is designated as a Univox Custom on the label inside the F hole.Condition wise this guitar is very good. It is original and the neck is straight and the guitar's action is low. All of the electronics work and the guitar sounds good. There is light normal wear and some finish checking on the back.The frets and fingerboard are in good shape. Like I said the neck is straight, the truss rod works and the guitar has low action. The neck profile is thinner to medium width.The guitar has been set up and cleaned. Its playing quite well and of course it looks cool.The whammy bar is missing on this guitar. They are out there somewhere so it wouldn't be hard to find one.This guitar has a little plaque on the headstock that was held on by two little pins. I still have the little plaque with the guitars name on it. I think they were named at the music store hence "custom".
