This is the famous Ampex 351-2 rack mount recorder. We custom rebuild these machines and guarantee them for one full year, the same warranty as given by Ampex when they were new. Engineers involved in our rebuilding include a retired Ampex Senior Field Engineer. We have about 80 combined years of experience. There are several options available, including cabinet, portable cases, remotes, transformer options, and we have even installed the later 440 servo capstan system. The price shown is for the basic machine, a complete stereo rack mount recorder with transport, heads, electronics and cabling. Cabinet, remote and other accessories are extra.
