Collectors Peavey USA Nitro Ltd Neck Thru XNice . ser# 0122. One of the rarest of Peavey’s offerings, the Limited was only offered a couple years and was Peaveys most expensive single neck guitar at the time. I believe there were only 700 made and this was # 122. This Magenta? metallic American made rocker plays and sounds as good as it looks and may be one of the cleanest in existence. This was the top of the line Nitro series and features; offset dbl cutaway hardwood body w/ neck through body, 22 fret ebony fretboard and pearl dot inlays, kahler/flyod rose dbl locking tremelo, Alnico pic-ups with single, single, humbucker (with coil tap) configuration, separate toggles for ea. pickup, single volume and tone controls, 6 inline mini machine head tuners and gold hardware. The neck is straight w/ an ebony fretboard, excellent frets and nice low non buzz action. This Nitro has never been abused and has no issues. The body and neck are beautiful with only very faint wear and the only “flaws” are light wear to the gold hardware. It is an EASY 9/10. The electronics all work fine. Strings still have life so including a new set of D’Adarios for your next change. No case :-( but will pack with great care. As with all our fine instruments, we understand the bond between player and instrument and always offer a 14 day play/return policy with No restocking fee. ( see below ).
*** Two things.... that is light glare on the pic of the back, not damage. Also, it is so long I am going to include a nice padded bass bag for extra protection in shipping.
