Description Here's something very rare: an extremely rare vintage 1984-87 Fender Japan right handed piano black 57 reissue stratocaster. This is a post JV model, made not long after the JV. It features a very rare A serial neck plate and it's all original with the original 57 pickups and Fender Japan wiring. E serial era is the high watermark of Fuji-gen Plant..This guitar is a good example of Fender Japan guitar making excellence, and an exceptional piece of Fender Japan history, and it sounds amazing.This guitar was made at the Fuji-gen Plant (for Fender Japan), Japanin 1984 - 1987 (inside the bottom of neck 11 29 88 is marked)Model Serial Number: E 918332 Fuji String Instrument Production CorporationFuji String Instrument Production Corporation was opened in may 1960, they initially started manufacturing violins and quickly switched to classical guitar production. In 1962 electric guitar construction was started. Fujigen has a reputation for excellent quality and craftsmanship so the guitars they produce are highly regarded. They produce guitars via OEM for famous brands such as Ibanez, Epiphone, Yamaha and Fender (the import Special Interest Group nature model), G&L and others.Condition: Excellent++She has some light play wear on fingerboard and narwhal corner.The maple neck has a D profile with light wear and natural aging.
