THIS GUITAR IS IN FABULOUS VINTAGE CONDITION ORIGINAL DOWN TO THE LAST SCREW!!! SWEET Faded Gold Hardware on a killer Silverburst, 22" scale, wide BONE nut, TWO KILLER PICKUPS!!! Currently strung up with 13-56 with bridge raised up a little, tuned in open D for SLIDE, and it sounds AMAZING!!!!!! Parting with it is pain... it can never be replaced. It's sooooo fn COOL!!!!!!! I've had several 1980 to 1982 Les Paul Custom Silverbursts... and as much as I miss those, I'll always remember this one more. Only reason for this silly sale is to cover some car craziness (Subaru ;-), that and the fact that I have really gotten into playing the acoustic12 string guitar, but this particular instrument was part of my musical passage through slide guitar, which I fn mastered to my own personal content, and that was amazing for me...   And judging from people that heard it, it was good. It's always good when it comes from the soul, and things aren't overly rehearsed... Anyway, it will play just fine with 10's on it, I can put a set of lighter strings on it and lower the action if you like, or leave it the way it is. The action is not very high, and you can fingerpick just fine, for open tuning stuff anyway. Has an absolute baseball bat neck! Super DARK fretboard! Overall finish is in great shape with the wear where you would expect it ;-) As you can see, its got a name, Russell, it's been there a long time... was done in paint, decent lettering, I have NEVER tried to alter it, remove it, etc. It is as I got it many many moons ago, bout the coolest little guitar you ever did see! The freakin strap is too cool and the only place it's been used was for somebody pretty tiny... the fittings are gold to match the hardware on the guitar.   For what it is, they don't get any finer than this No electronic or neck/fret or tuner issues, it needs nothing but played. It will go out super well packed, FedEx Ground fully insured!!!
