Vintage 1969 Gibson EB-3 electric bass guitar- I am selling this for my friend, who is the second owner and has had it in his possession for at least twenty years.I cannot find the serial number on the back of the headstock, but the pots were scratchy so i had them changed before listing and was easily able to date them from the potentiometers.the numbers are 1376934. all of the old pots are in the case compartment.the bass sounds and plays great.there are a few hairline finish cracks on the back of the headstock and the first couple of frets on the back of the neck,but he said they were there when he bought the bass and nothing has changed in 20 plus years.the neck feels fine and the bass is totally sturdy.everything other than the pots appears to be original (agagin, the original pots are in the case),there appears to be overspray on the back but the top has light surface crazing, strictly cosmetic.the hardshell case is a good fitting generic case in good condition.a great players' bass at a good price.
