1958 Gretsch 6129 Silver Jet
The one, the only, the Elite Stratocaster. Built in the early 80s these guitars had some appointments similar to a normal Strat as well as some appointments that catered to the rockers from the era. This 83 Elite is overall in great shape and sounds fabulous. Great playability up and down the neck. Cool Strat! Comes with the original hardshell case.   - See more at: http://www.vintageandrare.com/product/Fender-Elite-Stratocaster-1983-Elite-Sunburst-25645#sthash.kJCQRHTr.dpufThe one, the only, the Elite Stratocaster. Holy sparkles, Batman, this thing is incredible! This 1958 Gretsch Silver Jet has to be one of the coolest guitars ever produced. Super light chambered mahogany body, weighing in at a mere 7 pounds 7 ounces. The way they did the finish on these guitars is one of the more interesting aspects of the guitar; the sparkle finish is actually Gretsch drum wrap that has been fitted to the top and then lacquered! The Dynasonic pickups on these are some of the coolest and unique sounding pickups out there. The serial dates this guitar to very early 1958, so it’s likely that this is one of the last Silver Jets made with the Dynasonic pickups. Ebony fingerboard, a chunky mahogany neck and 100% original from the frets to the finish. Overall this guitar is in very good condition — The top is in immaculate condition, but there is some play wear, finish checking, one or two dings on the neck/back and missing the heel cap from binding rot. Beautiful, rare, and amazing playing vintage Gretsch! Comes with a modern hardshell case.
