Shells are 6 ply maple/gum, and sizes are 13x8, 16x15, and 22x12. Hoops are "Stick Savers." Toms have full contact edges and bass drums have bread and butter edges. This kit has a warm, dark, lively tone, much like a Gladstone all maple kit, but with slightly less sustain and a bit more low end. These are, in our opinion, some of the best sounding shells C&C has made to date.
