Model: Trap Door Telecaster
Description: This model was a one off design inspired by the children's TV series The Trap Door, and has a Lovecraftian feel to it. Made from a rubber hand-painted tentacle creeping out from behind the wooden trap door scratchplate, puppet eyes of different sizes staring out from the black body, metal hinge and knocker, and eye ball fret marker decals. The back features a hand-painted image of Berk and the other characters from the 1980s TV show. The Trap Door Telecaster fits into the Steampunk Special range of bespoke customised guitars. Inspired by clockwork technologies, Victoriana, the American 'Wild-West', and the supernatural, Devil & Sons' Steampunk Specials are retro-futuristic, post-apocalyptic, modified axes for the Steampunk generation.
