This is a Carol Brass Balanced Bb trumpet in top condition and only weeks old . This is now a very sought after instrument made in very small numbers . It has a sterling silver leadpipe and a large gold brass bell. The alternative heavy valve caps and bottoms give the opportunity to darken/lighten the response.
It is just as at home in the orchestra as in the big-band setting. (I prefer to use just one heavyweight bottom cap.)
The balanced feel of the valves in the middle of the instrument recalls the Olds Recording and the Selmers played by Harry James and Louis Armstrong .
I have owned it only a few weeks and am reluctantly selling having ordered it and waited some five months . It has an alternative main slide in the more modern round profile and a heavy set of valve caps and finger buttons. In top condition this is a chance for someone to buy this superb instrument for hundreds less than the shop price for one. To the hundred plus lookers at this great trumpet it will not be reduced any further-sorry .
As there is no case I am selling this with a Tom and Will triple trumpet gig bag to ensure safety . A fine Bb trumpet and VERY WELL MADE and versatile .
