Just in time for Christmas! This is my second auction for a similar Marshall MKII JTM45 Replica head. I checked the standard sellers and the new (and near new) Handwired Marshall JTM reissues are ranging in price from $1,999.00 to $3,200.00. This item can help you save a thousand or two and still get the revered looks, classic tone and handwired craftsmanship of those amplifiers. I hand built my first JTM45 replica over 10 yeas ago and have over 50 years of electronics design, manufacturing and maintenance experience. This is a JTM45 design using the best replica parts available, built into a large box Marshall style head and chassis (as used for the 1959 JMP/Plexi type amps). I felt more comfortable building with a bit more room for the components and wire spacing.  Keeping the noise level down within these amps is difficult enough without having to cram them into tight and small spaces.  It turned out wonderfully well.  I am planning on building several of these in the near future. The pictures speak for themselves as to the quality of parts and construction that were painstakingly put into this amplifier.  Please ask questions before bidding.  A 15% restocking fee will be charged for a returned amplifier (exception -  damaged in shipping by the carrier).  Here is a list of the most notable parts/type and brands:Tubes:  Genalex Gold Lion (quality made reissue) KT66 power tubes and GZ34 Rectifier Tube.  Preamp tubes consist of V1 - Mullard CV4004(ECC83), V2 - JJ/Tesla ECC83-MG, and V3 (Phase Inverter) JJ/Tesla ECC803s

Note:  This combination of preamp/phase inverter tubes was tested and found the most favorable to listeners of this amplifier after we tried many different combinations of tube brands and types.Transformers:  Heyboer RS-Spec Output transformer (100 volt winding included but not tapped, 4 ohm tap added), Hammond JTM45 Spec Power Transformer, Heyboer 5 Henry ChokeCapacitors:  F&T Capacitors Electrolytic High-Voltage Filters, Sozo Mustard Tone Caps, Silver Mica High Frequency Filter caps.Resistors: Carbon Comp Allen Bradly or comparable quality - normally 5% tolerance (but some resistors may have a different tolerance marking).Wire:  Generally 22 gauge top coat copper with PVC outer coating.  Some heavier wire was used where deemed appropriate.Cabinet was made by Sourmash Guitar cabs to JTM/JMP Plexi Large Box dimensions/standards using void free Baltic Birch.  Other: Marshall branded replacement front knobs, Heavy duty industrial grade toggle switches (Note: the switches are corrected from being  reversed from a British build.  (They are now "ON" when in the "DOWN" position as indicated by the face plate markings). Replacement 6"Marshall branded cabinet logo and indicator lamp (authorized Marshall parts). This chassis is made of (advertised) 16 gauge steel and included replicas of the JTM/JMP/Plexi face plates are general replacement components.  I used steel covers to cover the unused filter cap openings.
