For sale is a gorgeous 1996 Gibson Les Paul Studio in a black finish. Built on the pedigree of one of the most famous electric guitars ever made, these studio models are stripped of any extra unnecessary adornment and is truly designed to be a player. This guitar is very comfortable to play, with a nice medium shaped neck that fits well in hand weighing in at 9 lbs 8 oz. Tonally it is really sweet, with a nice classic vibe. The neck pickup is round and jazzy and gets very deep and growls when matched with an overdriven amplifier. The bridge pickup has a nice chime and subtle hollowness to it, and really screams when overdriven. Upgraded tuners. Cosmetically the guitar is in decent condition, with regular signs of play, such as finish swirling and some buckle rash, a small pickguard crack, marks/chips on the side of the body and back and some fretwear but not much more than that. Included is its original hardshell case. This is a great classic instrument that is just a straight player, no frills attached, great tone and beautiful styling.
