1990s Peavey Wolfgang in good condition with Peavey hard shell case. This is the original USA Peavey Wolfgang with a maple cap on a basswood body. This guitar is in excellent mechanical and electrical working order. However, it is not in mint condition. The frets are lower (either by design or from fret dressing) than the super tall frets that are standard on Peavey Wolfgangs. There's still plenty of fret left – I'd say they're now at about a normal height. I like this better – sliding up and down the next is more comfortable without feeling the edges of your fingertips smacking against the sides of the frets. There is no significant wear on them.The pickup selector switch has been replaced, and toggles between 10 and 4 o'clock instead of straight up and down (12 and 6 o'clock) or side to side (9 and 3 o'clock).Some tarnishing/pitting/corrosion on the metal parts, especially the bottom strap button. Other imperfections: Top: small indentation near the toggle switch. Small chip at the bottom edge near the binding (see pictures). Sides: two small indentations near the input jack, small indentationchip on the edge approximately six inches away from the input jack, nick in binding in the same area. Back: scratches between the neck bolts and the tremolo cover. Tremolo cover is very scratched up, as is the plastic cover for the electronics. Indentation towards the bottom, and another at the lower edge. Case: scratches, normal wear. Peavey EVH Wolfgang The original and top-of-the-line model. Made in the USA. It featured an arched (carved) top, body binding, two knobs (volume and tone), three-way pickup toggle switch, Peavey Floyd Rose double locking tremolo system with D-Tuna, two Peavey/EVH-designed humbucker paickups, oil-finished bird's eye maple neck and fingerboard with dual graphite reinforcement rods, ten-degree tilt headstock, 22 frets, 25 ½ inch scale, and Schaller mini M6 tuners with pearloid buttons.
