Don't want to sell this gem but gotta thin out the herd. I finished the build on this guitar after purchasing the loaded MIM early 90's body that someone did an awesome job copying the original SRV Strat. I was told the pickups were Tex Mex and I have no reason not to believe them. I played this guitar live a couple of times in outdoor venues and it screams through my Vintage Modern Marshall set up! When I first got the body they sent me a really cheap neck not attached to the guitar. I immediately sought after an older neck and came up with a 96' MIM rosewood neck. I did a relic on it and put the FENDER decals on. It's loaded with real FENDER gold tuners and string trees. It plays incredible!! It's been professionally set up to my liking. I play blues but you may like a heavier string. It's setup with Elixer lite gage .009s. I'm really not wanting to part with it but I have way to many. I will throw in a hard shell case with it and I think I might have a gold tremelo bar as well. If not I have one I'll send you when I get over to Cinci where some of my other gear is located!!
