Typical for the year of manufacture, this gorgeous1990 Gibson Les Paul Custom has a solid mahogany body, carved hard maple top and mahogany neck. The guitar is triple-bound.  Binding and headstock inlay has aged over time to a beautiful, almost cream and golden color.Ebony fingerboard and block MOP inlays, as found on the Les Paul Custom model.This guitar is in remarkable condition for an instrument 27 years old with a few, very minor, scratches, chips, nicks and typical patina on the gold plated parts.The standard gold plated Grover tuners work smoothly.Some time ago, the guitar was re-fretted (and frets recently dressed) by Doug Montgomery at The Guitar Factory, Orlando, FL. They are still like new. Schaller® strap locks are installed. (No strap nor strap pieces included)The case is an Original Gibson Hardshell, in which the guitar was shipped from the factory.  The interior of the case is in excellent condition with functioning pick box lid and all supports. Plush interior includes matching attached plush instrument cover. The outside is brown Tolex®, has the Gibson logo and shows scuff marks around the edges and places stickers have been removed. The carrying handle has been replaced. The case is in good condition and is very serviceable.This guitar has aged beautifully, but is remarkably free of wear. The finish is in excellent condition with the expected wear from almost 30 years of use. The instrument is very capable of delivering what is asked of it by anyone.
