Otto Vowinkel 1A Concert Classical 1992 Otto Vowinkel was born into a family of tailors, in the old centre of Amsterdam. He started making guitars in 1984, inspired by Irving Sloane’s book “Classic Guitar Construction” and soon developed a strong preference for traditional guitarmaking, soon after he started designing his own models.This is the Concert Model, quite an early one, from 1992. This model features a german spruce top, and indian rosewood back and sides. The neck is made out of cedar with an ebony fretboard, and it has a rosewood bridge. The guitar features shellac finish. The guitar sounds really clear and bright, and has very comfortable playability.This Otto Vowinkel concert model is in excellent condition, has some nail wear and dents on the top, and some scratches and rash on the back, relatively little wear considering its age, no cracks or misuse, impressive guitar.
