Location: MonmouthshireIt is a unique PRS and really the kind of guitar you need to try before buying. What is it like as a result of being re-finished in Wudtone,  having the Wudtone PRS DD upgrade fitted ?Well if you like the tones, balls, bite of a classic Les Paul, along with gorgeous looks, top carve, better upper fret access of a PRS ( plus trem) and you would like a guitar with all that to gig with, this PRS Custom 22will deliver all of that, with better detail, clarity and sustain.
Aside from the looks the reason to buy it is the step change improvement in dynamics and how that makes the guitar perform better than a stock PRS Custom 22. You can read testimonials as well as the clear reasons why here    .
We don't have many PRS guitars through our workshop. The last one also had a re finish and it was fitted with a Wudtone PRS DD upgrade. It sold to a customer in France via ebay ( pre the brexit £crash as well) . Did it delight? The customer kindly wrote to say.  "The guitar is very good. I love the tremolo, very easy to play and it stay in tune. The neck is very fast. My only complain is I would have preferred that all the guitar (not only the top) was new finish. It's a very good guitar and I can have some sounds very near a Les Paul 1959 reissue on my Deluxe Reverb II. The guitar is also very lightweight and the look of the re-finish on the maple cap is original and fantastic."Thanks for all. Best regards. Marc
