Combine time-tested acoustic design and a natural-sounding pickup system, and you've got the Taylor 214ce Deluxe. Its Grand Auditorium body has the width and depth of a Dreadnought, but its tapered waist and graceful contours make it look like a smaller instrument and impart balance and presence to the big sound, making it a favorite of recording engineers everywhere. With its slender and fast neck, the 214ce Deluxe plays like a Taylor, which is to say, effortlessly. With the 214ce Deluxe, you'll feel well-equipped both on stage and in your studio.Taylor 214ce DeluxeAcoustic-electric Guitar at a Glance:Grand Auditorium body style, for exceptional treble zingSolid Sitka spruce top gives you wonderfully clear and balanced toneTaylor Expression System 2 electronicsGrand Auditorium body style, for exceptional treble zingTaylor's beloved Grand Auditorium body style, featured on the 214ce Deluxe, employs the width and depth of the Dreadnought; however, its waist is narrower, which gives Grand-Auditorium-bodied acoustic guitars a sleeker look and more treble zing. The body style also helps to sharpen the definition of each note. From fingerpicking to medium strumming, the Grand Auditorium is a great choice for nearly every playing style.Solid Sitka spruce top gives you wonderfully clear and balanced toneTo give the 214ce Deluxe full tone and and clear projection, Taylor added a solid Sitka spruce top to its layered rosewood back and sides. The characteristically open sound of this spruce top really balances the tone, making it a wonderful guitar for any style of music you play.Taylor Expression System 2 electronicsTaylor's Expression System 2 is designed to faithfully reproduce your guitar's natural tone. This system utilizes three uniquely positioned and individually calibrated pickup sensors installed behind the saddle and through the bridge to capture top and string vibration like never before. I am not a music store just a middle aged guy who loves guitars. I use to play drums and guitar until I broke my neck in a diving accident in 1991. Left me a quad in a wheelchair for the long haul...Can't move my fingers anymore to play. I really enjoy buying, and selling guitars as a hobby to give me something to do...Also get to meet some great people along ther way....Wish I could still play but hey I can still look and love them right...If you decide to buy one of my guitars you can rest assure it will be as described...keep rockin'God Bless, Greg
