Here is a fantastic guitar by the FENDER CUSTOM SHOP made in the USA. It's a '59 ESQUIRE that was originally a "top loader" model [note there are no string-thru, metal ferrels in the back of the body]. It is a 2005 Limited Edition model that was presented at NAMM in the summer of that year. The guitar was modified to a TELECASTER with the additional pickup (in the neck position) made by Sonic Wrench (based out in Ohio)... Great reviews on those pickups which are all scattered-handwound by the boutique-pickup builders.

A BIGSBY tremolo was added to the guitar, and it looks factory-made that way since it was a toploader to begin with. It's a versatile guitar. It sounds great and feels great to play on. It weighs about 8 lbs. Before the BIGSBY was added, it weighed about 7.6 lbs. It's a well balanced guitar that sounds full and smooth. No "pingy"  or "buzzing" sounds anywhere on it. The strings on it are GHS Boomers 10s and were recently installed, too. The beautiful HLE Gold, nitro-finish has a light relic treatment (all done at the factory), and it's got that nice "checkered"-effect on some spots around the body to make it appear as a more naturally aged old instrument, as in "closet classic". It's not overdone or "exaggerated" in the Relic department as some Custom Shop guitars seem to be. The body wood is Ash, by the way.
The neck is a real treat. It's a 9-1/2" radius, one-piece, C-shape maple neck with medium jumbo frets and a 1-5/8" nut width. It has a "satin"-feel finish on it. It's an excellent combination of modern & classic, altogether. Brand new, this model listed for a little over $5-grand. Although it's been modified, it's more of "a player's guitar" than a collectable. One thing's for sure though... Whoever buys this guitar will not be disappointed.
Everything in the original hardshell case as shown is included [hang tags, shoulder strap, power cord, case keys, etc.].COA is included with a frame to hang up on the wall. The last photo in the listing shows how the guitar appeared as stock.
The case functions 100% without any issues.  The guitar stand as shown is NOT included. As with all of my listings, Returns are not accepted.
