Purchased from a North Yorkshire country house where it has been since new, this instrument has been meticulously maintained and tuned on a regular basis. My company has been restoring pianos since 1974 supplying reliable instruments at affordable prices. The mechanism is in first-class working order, it has been inspected, cleaned,overhauled and regulated in my workshop.. The strings are complete and tuned producing a rich,warm tone. The pedals, sustain and half-blow, both function correctly. The original 88 note keyboard is in good condition with no chipped keys or discoloration. The burr walnut casework is in pristine condition with no marks or scratches. An antique music stool can be purchased separately. A delightful piece of antique furniture and a wonderful instrument built by one of Germany`s most famous sons. Thoroughly reliable, it will give many years of service to its new owner.
