The violin This particular violin carries the label of Karl Allöder (Badbergen, 1947). Karl Allöder was a German sculptor and painter. He also built more than 30 violins. The violin has its own character and different from the usual German and French models. The shape of the violin is somewhat angular in the shoulders with long, elegant F-holes. The flame protection in the mirrored sides are mild and very regular. The curl looks powerful and is carved with great care and precision. The spruce top has a fine grain which anticipates wider towards the edges. Violin tone is full of character. Unspoken powerful, but rather mild and brilliant.
