Description
Note these are 100% chromed steel shells, not wood with chrome covers. The best sound possible. The heads are 14" and 13" in diameter. The serial numbers are 637869 and 644898, which goggle says means they were manufactured in 1968. One cool thing is that 1968 was the last year for the original Ludwig keystone logo. And these two drums have it. In 1969 Ludwig changed to the current B&O blue and olive mark. The surface chrome on both drums is beginning to corrode. There is some rust on the lugs, the rims and the stand. See photos. There is one very minor dent in the chrome, which I have included in the photos. There are three almost invisible dings also in the chrome. On the other hand, not to worry. From just a couple feet away these drums look FABULOUS!! See the first photo. The 14" head is in great shape. The 13" head is about average. See photos. The stand is missing the collar flange and wing nut that allow you to adjust the height of the central post. As a result, the stand bottoms out with the drum heads at approximately 33" off the floor, as seen in the photos. If you need the drums at any other height, this stand will not accommodate you. The angle elbows on the stand are normal.I accept paypal, checks and cash. Pick up in New Jersey is welcome. Otherwise shipping on this nice item will be $32 to the 48 states. Note: If you are the buyer of this item(s), feel free to download the photos and descriptive copy in the listing to use in the event that you wish to re-sell it in the future. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
