This item listing is for a vintage pearl DLX drum kit. It is from the mid 80's I believe and the shell composition is the birch/ mahogany make up. Sizes are 7.5x10, 8x12, 9x13, 12x14, 14x16 floor and a 16x22 kick. The finish is cherry wine transparent. I picked up this kit earlier in the year, and it has been slightly modified in that the sizes were all power depth, but I had them cut down to the current sizes by Rob Kampa. And when he cut them down he also recut the edges so they sound great and are ready to go. When I had them apart, they got a full detail...shells were waxed and hardware polished. I also updated all the wing screws and nuts to the current ones that pearl uses. New heads were also installed. Condition is pretty good considering their age. They do have a few battles scars, but absolutely nothing that I would consider serious at all. The only real issue is that some genius decided to cut out part of the batter side bass drum hoops. It still functions perfectly fine, though, and you can still attach a pedal to it with no problems. Auction is for drums only, no pictured hardware will be included. Shipping via UPS Ground will probably be around $100, dependent on destination. Local pickup is ALWAYS an option. No international bidders (which includes Canada, Alaska and Hawaii) or bidders with less than 10 positive feedbacks. Combined shipping is available.
