What we have here is a reproduction of the Gibson 1956 Les Paul Goldtop, put together by the good folks in the Gibson Custom Shop. Treated with the VOS treatment, the 1956 Les Paul Goldtop is crafted from a solid, non-weight relieved hunk of mahogany, topped with a carved maple top. The Antique Gold finish is just like the ones you'd see on a vintage '56 Paul, and this beauty is loaded with creme-covered P-90 pickups, just like it would've been when it rolled out of Gibson's shop in 1956.
