1938 Gibson J-35 Tobacco, Sunburst, Firestripe Pickguard, "V-neck", Sounds so good!! with new hard case. This beauty has a 1 & 3/4 inch nut width & a chunky “V” neck profile. The action is very good measuring just above 4/64 & 6/64’th inches high to low E fret 12. This is better than average for this era Gibson Flattop. The guitar has three tone bars that are the non scalloped type. There are some barely visible faint reminders of removed decals on the peghead face see pictures. They are only visible at certain angles..in certain lighting. The finish although very weather checked has a lovely coloration. There was a pick up system installed & later removed & filled in two spots one on the upper bout treble side & one on the lower bout bass side. The repairs were professionally done and are very subtle. There is a small back hairline repair on lower bout by the end pin. The parts are all original. The frets are in great shape and the finger board is not pitted. This one has a lot of character and has a full warm tone. “We professionally clean setup & pro pack for safe transit to your door!
