This piano has just been rebuilt with new pinblock, refinished soundboard, re-gilded plate, re-plated metal hardware, new strings, tuning pins, damper felts, new damper action and stop rail felts, new agraffes, and new damper rail guide felt. The case has been refinished with the classic American sprayed lacquer, hand-rubbed finish. The action has been regulated to a high level. The model M is one of the most popular Steinway brands because it has a substantially richer sound than the smaller model S, yet is still small enough to fit in just about any home.
