NO RESERVEI took this Guitar to one of the best luthiers on the planet and after assessing its functionality, he decided to move the bridge over slightly for Optimum play-ability. This involved moving the strap button slightly left and up a little. (see picture) He also did a professional "set up" on the Guitar and now it plays Great. The action is low, it's effortless and a joy to play, and the intonation is properly set as well. The Neck is nice and "fat," it fills your hand, and it feels great. It is kind of like a Gibson neck, like a Les Paul junior or something along those lines. There is No wear on the back of the neck whatsoever. The Speed Bump pickups sound absolutely fabulous with a crisp, clean, pure sound at each setting of the selector switch. Each setting also has its own distinct tonal characteristics to provide a very diverse sound pallet from which to choose. All controls function perfectly as do the Kluson "Single Line" Tuners. The super cool Bigbsy B6 Vibrato Unit with Gold Art Deco insert works perfectly and it feels solid and strong. There is No fret wear on the frets whatsoever (see pictures) and the Brazillian Rosewood Fingerboard is in great condition as well. There are No "belt buckle marks" on the Back, or any scratches or scrapes to speak of on the Back or Front. On the bottom side edge there are three small indent/scratchings, and a much more visible mark near the Horn of the bottom cutaway. On the top side edge there is one very tiny indent. These are mostly all seen in the pictures. For the most part, the only evidence of actual "play wear" is on the Neck pickup. The very top corner edge has a little bit of wear. Honestly, it looks like the Guitar was bought New, played some, and then put up and stored for a long, long time. As stated in the title the Guitar looks basically new, and the Nicely figured Curly Maple Body with transparent Red nitro lacquer finish together are just Gorgeous. This Beauty weighs in at 7 pounds 2 ounces and comes with a Brand New Deluxe hard shell case.
