Holton French Horn F/Bb double hornFarkas series model~1990’sSerial #693XXXSolid Nickel SilverMostly unlaqueredDetachable bell (Alexander ring)Very good conditionThis horn was originally a fixed bell H179. It was converted to a detachable screw bell with a standard Alexander ring making it essentially an H279.This horn is in very good condition. Most of the lacquer was removed by the previous owner. This just means you need to wipe off your finger prints or it will tarnish.It has never sustained major damage. It does show dings and scratches from use. As you can see in the pictures it has scratches on the outer bow. All valves and slides are free and working. It was recently chem cleaned and adjusted by a horn specialist. Valve compression is still good. The original fixed bell case in good condition is included. There are no smells.From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Will be shipped via FedEx Ground or Home to the continental US. Payment and ShippingPayment by PayPal must be received within 24 hours of close of auction.Items will be shipped anywhere in the continental US. Ask for shipping costs if you are in Alaska or Hawaii.
