- all solid quality tonewoods: hight arched quality spruce top, flamed maple hight arched onepiece back with deep cut edges and ribs, HOPF brandmarked back, body with cornerblocks,
flamed wide maple neck, shafted on deep cut snail
ebony nut & ebony saddle, ebony fingerboard, ebony pegs , ebony endpin, ebony chinrestebony tailpiece with brass saddle, 1x quality finetuner (marked 2)
flamed Schnabl/Aubert maplebridge The violin is fully playable and was set up with a new bridge, new pegs, a new tailpiece + hanger in a former setup (probably by luthier W. Schnabl in Bubenreuth / Germany)
Fine and well glued hairline cracks in the lower area of the top were professionally glued in aformer repair(s), too. On the right upper bout, the backs` edge is a little bit out of shape
The neck was modified due to scale changes in earlier times (shafted-on snail)The shellac varnish is showing a nice patina and characteristical signs of the time --> Please see picturesWith alloy wound strings We will ship the violin safe & secure with lots of padding and with removed bridge
