Vintage Ampeg V4 100 watt tube amp head. This amp is both tube pre amp section with tube power amp section. Amp head is rough shape. The vynl cover is torn in several spots. The reverb spring and lock mechanism work well. All tubes were replaced about two years ago and only have approximately 10 hours on them. A capacitor unfortunately got damaged in my recent move so the amp does not work the way it sits however it will power up. When it was re-tubed the tech inspected both transformer banks and confirmed they're both in great shape. Should cost less $200 to get a new cap formed and installed by another tech. The 410he cab is a rare find and in excellent shape! Most old and new 410he's were built with smaller dimensions that were too small for vintage V4 heads to sit on properly. Ampeg made these cabs a slightly larger size sometime in the 80's and sound amazing. All original speakers and all sound great! Cab looks brand new.I want to sell these together as this combo is a bass player dream come true. SVT's are great but usually you end up playing way too loud to get that beautiful natural tube amp break up you crave. The V4 will bring you that at a munch more reasonable volume on stage. In the studio this sealed cab mic's so well too many recording studios surprise.
