Up for auction there is an very fine old (French ?) violin bow
I think that it is a very old French violin bow because my grandfather did purchase this bow in France.This beautiful bow is a very high quality bow, with excellent handling and balance. The octagonal stick is dark pernambuco. Ebony frog with bone and wood inlay. Because the bow is very old the silver winding and the brown thumb leather is a bit loose.
