Here's a nice Gruning Audioworks racked pair of PM1000 modules. These have been completely recapped (electrolytics), have the "1073" EQ modification, and have various other mods to enhance or increase the signal and lower the noise floor. This one also has the original Tamura input and output transformers.The power supply is designed by Jason Lambson (Revive Audio) specifically for PM1000s. If you don't know Jason's work, check out his Ebay store and website. He does excellent work and is just generally good people.As far as I'm concerned, the PM1000 is the best "bang-for-the-buck" mic pre available anywhere. Look through the testimonials on the Gruning Audioworks site. Several rave reviews address the PM1000 specifically.
