1977 Fender Princeton Reverb
Blackface Mods Completed By Ed Quidley of Quidley Amps
Zero Sonic Issues Here's my very clean '77 Princeton Reverb which was my main recording amp for a few years. All functions work perfectly including both the reverb and tremolo and the amp is very quiet. Prior to my purchase, this amp was modified to blackface specs by Ed Quidley. Ive taken extesive photos of the circuit so you can see the professional quality & cleanliness of the work. With the exception of a few resistors and I believe the reverb pedal jack, all of the circuit components appear to be original (you won't miss the death cap, you're welcome). Transformers, etc all date to the 70's so they too are original. As part of the blackface mod, Ed disconnected the volume knob push/pull functionality (which can easily be restored back if needed - trust me, you don't want it) and added in a three prong power cord. I've removed the original speaker that I had in this as it is my preferred speaker and in its place I've added a Celestion Ten 30 speaker which I had lying around. The amp will come with this speaker and it is shown in the final photo. She's a clean machine and will be packaged professionally.
