1962 Martin 112T Amplifier Rowe DeArmond, original, R15T, excellent, NO RESERVE

Vintage Martin 112T amplifier made by Rowe DeArmond of Toledo, Ohio. Overall excellent condition for a 54 year old tube amp. Although much of the information on these amps would indicate that they were made from 1959-1960, this one appears to be from 1962. I base that on the pot codes that range from the 40th week of 1960 to the 11th week of 1962, also on the Jensen speaker code of 220237 (37th week of 1962), the capacitor can that is dated the 50th week of 1962, and the rectifier tube dated the 30th week of 1962. The power transformer is dated the 45th week of 1960. I believe these to be all original parts. It does not appear that anything has ever been changed or worked on in the amp with the possible exception of some of the tubes. The output 6V6GTA's are GE JAN brown-base tubes. The preamp tubes are a mix of two RCA and one Phillips (that one looks newer to me). Everything works as it should and it sounds great. The original foot switch is included, it is stamped 'Rowe Industries, Toledo, Ohio' on the bottom. The tolex is in nice shape, some minor wear, scuffs on the bottom, but overall excellent for the age. The black 'tweed-style' handle has some cracks in the leather, it should be repaired or replaced before heavy usage. It works fine now, but I wouldn't trust it for long, replacement handles are readily available. The control panel has minor pits, but again excellent for the age. There is a small amount of corrosion on the chassis, take a look at the pictures, it isn't bad, but should be mentioned. As with any/all vintage electronics, this amp should be gone over by a qualified tech before gigging with it. I would also recommend swapping out the original Jensen speaker before you play the amp on '10'. Please take a good look at the photos and ask any questions before bidding.
