Disclaimer: Folks, this is not a Sphere Recording Consoles product. The company is very active building, repairing/refurbishing excellent quality professional audio equipment. Please have a look at their website This is the second and last set of Gruning Audioworks racked vintage Sphere 1200B modules I have to sell. I have another pair but they'll have to pry them out of my cold dead hands. So you've got your Neves and your APIs and they're great units, but if you want something a little more exotic...here it is. As I recall there was some connection between Sphere and Electrodyne, Quad-8, but please check the web for historical info. Whatever the case, the 1200 modules sound truly awesome. Huge headroom and lovely tonal reproduction. A few years ago I racked a pair of these and swore that if I ever saw more of them I'd have a pair of my own. So I finally found a few and can keep one pair and offer these beauties for sale. These have gain and output pots as well as polarity, 20dB pads, and phantom power switches. The output transformers are shiny new Jensens. If you have questions, please get in touch and I'll try to answer them.
I"ll try to get a sound sample up on the Gruning Audioworks site sometime in the near future.Yes, I can wire these for 220V at no extra charge. Non-US buyers must contact me for shipping information.I'm adding a $25 handling charge to cover full value shipping insurance. Thanks for looking.
