Here's The Run Down: This is A Very Cool Vintage Early '20s Vega Whyte Laydie Style R Tenor Banjo! This is a USA made banjo that "pre war" and is in great shape overall for its age (see pics). There will be marks, scuffs, scratches and discoloration of the hardware here and there, but nothing other than you would expect of a used, played and vintage instrument (see pics). I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge for yourself (see pics). There are NO breaks, repairs or damage that is not visible in the pics. This banjo appears to be all original with the possible exception of head and bridge. The back of the neck is in very good shape with the normal wear you would expect of a used vintage instrument (pictured). There is minimal fret wear. The only thing to really mention is a piece of neck binding is missing, but could easily be repaired if desired (pictured). If your looking for a Vintage Tenor Banjo that your friends do not have and plays great, this is the one you have been waiting for!This Vintage Vega Whyte Laydie Tenor Banjo is extremely playable with very good action. Although I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking. The neck is straight, and the action is very good from one end of the board to the other. Needs Strings.. The Included Newer Hard Case is in great condition. All latches, hinges and handle operate as they should without issue. It will have marks and/or scuffs here or there from moving it around and age, but still a great case. Everything operates as it should, and has never had, nor does it have any breaks or repairs unless noted above. Make sure you view all of the pics and ask questions if you have any concerns before buying. I will ship this item over seas, but you must contact me for a shipping quote before buying.
