This Stratocaster was purchased by me only for an investment. I have an Eric Johnson in the same color, so I use that and have kept this guitar in its case. It's a dream to own and to play! Perfect setup, no fret wear. Basically you're getting a guitar in Excellent condition that'll last a lifetime or three. No checking on the Nitro finish, you need to keep it in its tweed case for 24hrs. After changing climates to avoid checking. I have been a good daddy to her. Now, it's time for a great player to get this girl. It's a sweet guitar. No doubt it's worth $1500. The MSRP was $2295. When I bought it. That was in 2007. Bid high and take home a goddess. I have the original white pickguard if you want it. I thought the gold matched the gold hardware very nicely. Again, it's the 50th Anniversary. 1957 N.O.S.! Enjoy it!!
